Fusion's wrist worn sensor for blood pressure monitoring compresses to a value typically far below standard blood pressure cuffs, drastically reducing the discomfort normally associated with blood pressure cuff devices. In addition, the technology facilitates monitoring historically difficult patients such as morbidly obese, pediatrics and geriatrics. It is especially welcomed by pediatric and geriatric patients as an alternative to the annoying (sometimes painful) cuff. The wrist sensor fits patients with wrist circumferences ranging from 11cm - 22cm. |
